Halton 60th Anniversary Reunion - September 2017
The 60th anniversary reunion of our training commencing at Halton in September 1957 was held in the Halton Sergeant's Mess on Saturday 16th September. Chairman Jim had arranged an excellent dining-in night with the Sergeants' Mess CMC and wife as our guests. Jim read out correspondance he had received from Buckingham palace congratulating us on our 60th anniversary.
We had the luxury of staying in the comfortable Aylesbury Holiday Inn.
On the Sunday we had a short service in the Halton church followed by a presentation on "The Halton Apprentice Scheme" in the library in 2 wing mess building. The day finished with lunch in One Wing Mess.
It was agreed that the 2018 Reunion would be held in mid September in the Midlands.
